If you’re not comparing one machine to the others, you can’t really tell whether it’s a good deal based on what you get for the price. Only by comparison will you really see if you’re getting a good deal, or if you should buy something else. Also, consider that the cost at one store might be different than the cost at another store, so do that comparison, as well. That way you won’t risk paying too much for something because you didn’t take a few extra minutes to see if someone else had it for less money.
Once you get your sewing machine home, make sure you take the time to read the manual and follow the instructions carefully. If you aren’t paying attention you could damage the machine and injure yourself – neither of which would be good choices. There is always some risk of injury or damage when it comes to a machine with moving parts, but reading the manual carefully can help avoid common mistakes that can be dangerous. You’ll feel safer, and your sewing machine will last much longer.
